Purple Raine is said to be 50/50 hybrid strain. This hit me more like an indica dominant strain. The THC levels can get up to 19%. This strain smells amazing. It is like a bowl of berries with syrup sitting in the middle of your room. The smell is overwhelming.
The taste of Purple Raine is underwhelming. It’s a pungent harsh dankness that isn’t tolerable. It is not sour like Diesel or Chemdawg. It is more of a rancid taste. I like this strain as a pain reliever though. The effects are not intense in either direction. The body is not over relaxed or lethargic and the mind is not overly stimulated.
