The thing with crossing strains is sometimes you can get a result that is so superior, better, and a major improvement on what has come before…no disrespect to the past but evolution is the tradition of life. What do you get when you cross a Shipwreck with the Pineapple Express? The result is a Pineapple Trainwreck! I am so thankful for this beautiful catastrophe. I have had Pineapple Express. They made a movie off the namesake. The first and only time I have gotten it I was thoroughly unimpressed. It did very little in effect and had an underwhelming taste…fast forward to Pineapple Trainwreck.
This strain is an 80% sativa leaning energy powerhouse. I don’t know how Shipwreck turned a kitten of Pineapple Express into the tiger of Pineapple Trainwreck, but the strain is awesome. The buds are compact nuggets that are unassumingly dark green, brown, and reddish. It looks like no big deal. The smell is kool as some floral and diesel scents emerge…but get Pineapple Trainwreck for its effect. The sativa focusing energy instantly hits you with euphoria and creative mental flow. This is great for working out, writing, or any active endeavor. I don’t hit this at night as it drives energy and action. Enjoy this powerhouse sativa.
