Cannabis sites started talking about weed salads a few years ago. I thought they were eating strains and making edible sauces or something. However, a weed salad is simply mixing strains of weed of similar properties. We’d like to recommend a few of our best weed salad combinations. We’ll begin with sativa blends then end with our evening indica recommendations.
Sativa Weed Salads
Jokers strain is our base for sativa combinations. I am partial more than my peers to the diesel and dank taste and uplifting effect of Joker. Mixing this strain with Red Line Haze adds a fruity piney element to the diesel taste. This is a one of the best, delicious wake and bake combination.
The Jokers strain and Cherry Haze is a sativa decadence weed salad combination. The mind will be focused and primed to get things done. These two strains combine for a sweet syrupy and skunk flavor that is accented by the diesel elements of Joker. You can enjoy this mix any time of the day.
Another Joker combination we recommend is mixing it with East Coast Sour Diesel. This combination is a diesel taste extravaganza. This is an evening or late afternoon combination, as East Coast Sour Diesel has strong relaxing effects.
Indica Weed Salads
Our evening indica recommendations has a base of the Afterglow strain. Afterglow is a sweet piney tasting indica with mild sedating and relaxing effects. We suggest mixing this strain with Apple Jax early in the evening for a relaxing effect that is not heavy or sedating. This is a perfect combination for enjoying dinner, conversation, or simply chilling.
Moving deeper into the evening we suggest mixing Afterglow with Insane OG. The piney elements of Afterglow balances well with the grape and berry taste of Insane. This combination will infuse you with a social and creative energy that will relax you with sedation. In time, the effects will become heavier.
Lastly, we suggest the weed salad, Afterglow and Red Bullz. Both strains sound like they should energize and amp up the user. “Wrong” in my Charlie Murphy voice (Rest in Power)! These are both heavy indicas. Afterglow has a slight sedating effect that is functional. However, mixing this strain with the power of Red Bullz makes this combination a calm and relaxed effect priming you to wind down the evening. RedBullz adds a skunk and lemon flavor to the piney harshness of Afterglow.
