V-Day is for (Cannabis) Lovers

"However, no matter your relationship status, you can make cannabis part of your Valentine’s Day. This is just another level to that."

I can’t be the only person who is glad that Valentine’s Day has evolved. When I was growing up, Valentine’s Day was a big deal. Every year I waited to see what kinds of notes of friendship or puppy love might come across my desk. However, it has evolved from strictly a couples holiday when to more general celebration of love, which is more in line with how the world works today. Instead of being all about couples, you can choose to celebrate being coupled, being single, friendships, or just being yourself. However, no matter your relationship status, you can make cannabis part of your Valentine’s Day. Read on for more activities you can do alone or with someone else to smoke up your holiday.

Practice Shotguns

Okay, admittedly, this one does require a second person, but who’s to say that you can’t try it with your roommate or a good friend just as easily as a significant other? Of course, the Rona is still out there, so I’m not suggesting to go crazy, but if you live with a significant other and you see them every day, you probably get intimate from time to time. This is just another level to that.

Bake Brownies

The classic V-Day includes a trip to a romantic restaurant, but you might be inclined to skip it this year for various reasons. Whether it’s iffy policies on indoor dining or that you just prefer to skip the crowded restaurant vibe, that doesn’t mean you have to skip the special meal. You can treat yourself baking pot brownies, or if you’re feeling fancy and have a decent amount of talent in the kitchen, try making curating a pot infused meal to celebrate this special treat. This is one of those things that can get expensive quickly (private chef, anyone?) Although, you could DIY by ordering a meal kit and infusing it with your own canna-butter for a restaurant quality meal at home. Also if you don’t care about baking or cooking at all, then just hit up your favorite dispensary- mine is Select– to peruse the array of gummies, chocolates, and other infused treats.

Use Try Weed Lube

I’ve heard very good things about weed lube. Very good things. Foria Pleasure is perhaps the best known of the cannabis lubricants, and “brings the power of ancient plant medicine to your fingertips”, by bringing THC to your nether regions. It’s made of cannabis oil and liquid coconut oil, warms up in 10 minutes, and reportedly results in enhanced arousal, along with increased intensity and length of orgasms. Sounds like a win for everyone involved.

Do a Virtual Pot Paint Night

Pot and Paint go together like peanut butter and jelly. Skip the trip to the paint studio, and head out to the craft store to grab paint, brushes, canvas. A quick search on YouTube reveals a ton of paint night at home content, from full moons, to cacti, to landscapes. If you want to go off script you could even paint cannabis or self-portraits. Let the cannabis inspire you to greater artistic heights and creations.

Set up a CBD Spa Night

If THC isn’t in your holiday plans, or if you just want to enhance the feelings of relaxation, try CBD-infused lotions or massage oils. Try a lavender bubble bath, and then pamper yourself or your partner with a full CBD spa night. Don’t be afraid and make it sexy by wearing a with a special outfit (or less). CBD massage oil is known for its balancing and anti-inflammatory properties.
