I remember the film with Seth Rogan and James Franco. That was when I realized I was not a fan of the Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill style of comedy at all. I didn’t think the movie was remotely funny and did not finish it. The film did make me want to try the strain though. I figured if a movie is named after it then it must be the shit. Let’s take a ride on the Pineapple Express.
The first time I had Pineapple Express I was not impressed at all. However, I have not had it from the Select Co-op, so I want to see the quality of the strain knowing it is from folks that only carry the best shit. Pineapple Express is an almost equally balanced hybrid. It is about 60/40 leaning towards sativa. I did not know that in the past. Probably why I was not the biggest fan of the strain. I still am not. Everything in Pineapple Express is good, just not great.
The taste is mildly sweet with subtle citrus and pineapple flavors. The buds do not emit any impressive dankness as far as smell as you break them down. Pineapple Express can reach up to 25% levels in THC. This strain provides slight sativa elating energy while at the same time is calming and relaxing. Pineapple Express is like a very light mixed drink. You won’t get too high with focused energy or too down with the indica side either.
