How to get involved with ASA’s First 100 Days Campaign
Policy priorities will be set in the first 100 days of the 47th Administration and 119th Congress for the upcoming year. From the economy to housing and public health, these policies will impact the lives of millions of patients. While the Trump Administration’s 100-day plan does not explicitly include federal medical cannabis reforms, on the campaign trail, President Trump repeatedly expressed support for medical cannabis. While POTUS can not directly change cannabis laws, there are several actions that he can direct his administration to take to greatly improve the lives of patients without legislative action from Congress.
Also, the 119th Congress includes nine new senators (four Democrats, five Republicans) and 63 new representatives (33 Democrats, 30 Republicans) that all need to hear from patients!
